Lincoln Square Street Sign, 1920
metal and enamel , 22"L x 12"H
How do you get to Lincoln Center? Well, you could go to Lincoln Square and 63rd in the 1920s and wait about 40 years. This double-sided street sign from the 1920s marks the spot where Lincoln Center would later be built in the 1950s under the watch of Robert Moses. A fun piece of NYC history in a good state of preservation with areas of wear.
