Sparshatt has documented the music and life of Cuba for over a decade culminating in his captivating book Cuba Land of Spirit in 2006. His exhibition at the Royal National Theatre from that same year was described in the Sunday Telegraph as “a dazzling collection of black and white images”. Sparshatt was winner of the Center for Fine Art Photography’s International award in 2008.
