Marika Vicari
Italian b. 1979
charcoal on wood, 20x20cm

Vicari, who studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Venice describes her landscapes as dominated by silence. As she reflects, “It is said that the work of nature over the horizon of man ends with trees. This is maybe the reason why I tend to lose my way in the woods.”
